ADMISSION:
  An admission fee will be charged.

TOURNAMENT STYLE:   9 teams, modified double elimination with consolation. Reagan has a 1st round bye.


Outcome / Comments
The Eagles dropped their opener in the tournament in a frustrating series of missed opportunities.
They avoided a shutout with a late rally, but it was a case of too little, too late.

In the second game, the Eagles gave up a 3-run triple that allowed New Braunfels to take the lead
in the bottom of the 6th inning. Akins battled back to win the game by just 1 run, recording 13 hits,
along with 8 errors, in the seesaw contest.

The game with Smithson Valley on Saturday was riddled with Eagle errors. Eagle bats were silenced,
as Ranger pitcher Hamilton threw a no-hit shutout.
