Let there be lights! February days are short in Texas, and it had already started getting seriously dark at the ball park in the 5th inning.

Davilla allows Rough Rider outfielder Charley Hayes an extra-base hit in the 6th.

Brennan Boykin hits an RBI single that scores Hayes.

Without the ball, Eagle catcher Ty Snyder can't keep Hayes from scoring.

With just 1 out, the 6th inning score is Eagles 5, Rough Riders 3.

Davilla retires the remaining two TR batters in the 6th.

Davilla's tag is late. Vigil scores on Cravey's sacrifice fly. Eagles 5, Rough Riders 4, with just 1 out and the game-tying run on 2nd base.

After the game, RC Medrano wanted to be among his teammates, as they shook hands with the Rough Riders at mid-field. But Medrano, who had been injured in an earlier game on the same day, couldn't make it onto the field quickly enough. His father, Ricardo Medrano, gingerly walked RC over to the Roosevelt postgame huddle, where he got to shake hands.

Postgame knuckle knocks. Eagles 5, Rough Riders 4.

With the tying run on 2nd, 2 outs and a count of 2 and 2, Eagle closer Austin McNicholas pitches to Jacob Preciado.

STRIKE THREE! Umpire Roland Lee rings up the strikeout. Davilla heads for the mound, and Preciado heads for the dugout.
