Rockwell Field, home of the Pirates of Southwestern University. The Eagles loosen up on a foggy morning with their customary pregame warmup routine.

The Eagles drew a tough tournament opponent in the Southlake Carroll Dragons. All but one batter in Carroll's lineup were able to hit Eagle pitching. That firepower fueled a carousel of runners that ended the game early.

Bright spots for the Eagles were few. Airrik Martinez got 2 of the Eagles' total of 4 base hits for the game, with Jason Rangel and Charles Morton recording the other two.

Final score at Rockwell Field: Akins Eagles 0, Southlake Carroll Dragons 10. Mercy!
