This team huddle after the 4th inning kicked off a 5th inning rally for the Eagles.

Eagle catcher Morton slammed this 5th inning shot to the Cougar 3rd baseman, who bobbled it, allowing Morton to reach 1st safely. Notice the ball leaving the far right edge of the image.

Davila snatches a dribbler to the mound and flips it to Rogalewski at first to end the bottom half of the 4th inning.

With Airrik Martinez on third base, Coach Velasquez and Eagle batter Martin Salinas watch a long foul ball that was just a warmup for Salinas's 2-RBI double in the top of the 5th.

This game was one of two back-to-back contests played by the Eagles Varsity on Saturday, February 19, 2005, as part of a 3-way meeting that included New Braunfels Canyon and Del Valle High School. The game was scheduled for 11 AM, but it started late and was played in an intermittent drizzle that lasted the entire time.

Costly Eagle fielding errors kept Canyon in the game early, and the largely unproductive Akins bats couldn't shut the door. The game was called for time after 5 innings, with the final score tied 3-3.
